Bat-Yam : strategy for creating city center

We were challenged by the Cultural department of the city to develop a plan that will create a city center based on the city revival principles.

As can be seen from the slides we created a three steps plan: first we identified the most important institutions in the city and potential development zone and marked them on the map. Secondly we created a circular road which connects all these point of interest with an easy system of public transportation. Thirdly we identified three ecological routes across the city.
We finally added what was need to be done in term of contents to make it all happen.
The Mayor said after the briefing that he could imagin how an outsider could define so well the problems of the city and offer solutions.
