Fundraising is of course a way of life for anyone trying to initiate or manage a cultural project. We are no different. Our first major effort occurred some 27 years ago when we raised 250,000 USD to finance the first professional public art project in Tel Aviv Jaffa.

The second major efforts were at the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art. There money was raised from private and city sources to renovate the building and improve its functions, to renovate and upgrade the education center and build new galleries. But the most important was "collections raising" resulting in three major commitments over five years.

We have created a corporate club, turned the annual gala dinner into a social must and created an annual event in Cannes on the Cote d'azur.

Less conspicuous but very important were fund raising efforts for the Performing Art Center in Tel-Aviv, the Israel Chamber Orchestra and the Gutman Museum of Art.

In all millions of NIS were raised for these institutions from private and public sources (in addition to the usual public support).

The Mazia House theater project in Jerusalem was in danger of being eliminated due to major costs overrun. This was prevented by us raising three Million NIS from private sources and the government. Had it not being achieved the effort of cultural development in the center of the city would have collapsed before it started.

Part of this effort is the Jerusalem Art Campus-now under construction where we developed cultural strategy and serve as cultural project director. We assisted in raising USD15 Million to the project.

Recently we persuaded the City of Jerusalem to devote three million NIS from its Israel Lottery allotment to support the new campus of the Israel Academy for Music and Dance.

We also were hired to raise funds for two academic institutions but though our efforts were successful we decided to discontinue the efforts because we do not believe in doing the efforts for a project that is not "ours".
