TEL-AVIV  ARTISTS MUSEUM

•        A unique concept for an open urban cultural environment based on the Gutman Museum of Art, Uri Lifshitz Studio, and two other buildings-all of them designated “preserved”. The building are: the old German Consulate in Eilat St. now owned by the Israeli Government and number 2 Gevulot st. (to be acquired).

•        These additional locations could house collections such as Tumarkin and Kadishman as well as others depending on the strategy that will be adopted.of course Gutman and Lifshitz are already located in the proposed site.

•        As shown in the map all the proposed buildings are situated in a circle-which creates a pedestrian route. This route will also include sites that will not be part of the project but will add to its tourist attraction such as the Templar buildings near Gutman museum and Cafe Lorenz

•        Another result will be connecting Florentine and Neve Zedek quarters. The City Architect has said the idea is a solution to a long term urban problem.

•        It will be a major addition to cultural contents in an area where massive physical development is carried out.

It will constitute a clear cultural statement by the City
