THE JAN RAUCHVERGER SHOW AT THE TERTIAKOFF GALLERY IN MOSCOW​​

The Tertiakoff Gallery (one of the two most important museums in Moscow and one of the four important museums in Russia presented in the month of September 2004 a solo show by Israeli Artist Jan Rauchverger.

The Gallery usually exhibit only soviet artists but made an exception after its Director visited the Soviet born artist's retrospective at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem which organized the show.

Diss is Culture Director Ronnie Dissentshik was asked to assist the artist and did so pro bono. He raised some $20,000, assisted the Israel Museum in negotiating terms with suppliers. Most important he helped the artist and the museum overcome some differences of opinion.

The Moscow show much like its Jerusalem predecessor was a major success. The artist send a thank you letter stating that without our help the show would probably not have been materialized.
