Israeli Art Collection​

We have an Israeli art collection which is considered a very high quality collection in spite of the fact that it is limited in size (as opposed to collections by persons of means investing huge sums and assisted by professional curators). A substantial part of it was loan to different museum shows.

The collection consisted of mainly three different parts:

1. Israeli Art of the 1970'S –which was given as a gift to the Israel Museum in Jerusalem (See a separate section)

2. The use of newspapers in Israeli works of art from the 1960'S to date. One can see how it developed from simple ascetics to political and social statement. This collection is currently on show in the Israel Museum in Jerusalem (11/17-3/18).

3. A group of painting relating to political and social issues.
